Filament Tape

Filament tapes are highly valued for their tear resistance and strong adhesive properties, making them a reliable choice for many demanding applications. Filament adhesive tapes feature a strong carrier coated with a hot melt adhesive and reinforced with fiberglass filaments for enhanced tear resistance.   This tape is suitable for oil and air-filled transfer applications and reinforcements, as well as for holding and separating ground insulation. The tape withstands a temperature range of 32 to 311 °F (0 to 155 °C). 

 With polyester film/glass filament backing has a pressure sensitive, acrylic adhesive that offers firm adherence. This high break strength tape is designed for applications that require both dielectric strength and mechanical strength. Ideal for bundling motor coils and coil covering 

 Unidirectional filament tape with glass filaments inserts and synthetic rubber adhesive provides higher tensile strength Solvent resistant without thermosetting. Used in various industries from heavy duty application during packaging bundling to low level application transport securing and fixing applications 

• Mono-oriented filament tapes: here the fiberglass inserts run vertically through the tape, only in one direction;
• Cross weave filament tapes: here the fiberglass inserts run both vertically and horizontally through the tape, in both directions. They are interwoven to create a cross-weave pattern that guarantees maximum holding power and resistance.
